Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping activities and conduct monthly reviews of tax accounts, overseeing reconciliations and addressing routine tax and accounting-related inquiries.
Lead negotiations with tax authorities to resolve any outstanding tax issues and ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings.
Ensure clients’ adherence to all relevant accounting, tax laws, and reporting requirements, maintaining up-to-date compliance with regulations.
Develop and present detailed managerial reports, tax forecasts, and accounting budgets to clients, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Participate in business consultations and offer efficient solutions to partners.
Provide quick and effective solutions when additional inquiries arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in local accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani tax and financial regulations.
PMS certification is must; other relevant certifications (e.g. ACCA) are preferrable
Proficiency in 1C accounting software and MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel).
Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to establish good communication and healthy working relationships.
Proficiency in both Azerbaijani and English (spoken and written); knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
